How to Set Up Simple Login (Picture Passwords) for your Students

NOTE: This article assumes that a teacher has already created an account for a student. To learn different ways to add students, see this section here.

Simple Login (Picture Passwords) is a great way for students (and even adults, if they're in your class) to remember their passwords. See this blog to learn more about it.

Step 1

To start, navigate to your Classroom Dashboard by clicking on the top left-hand corner where it says 'Classes', then select a class.

Step 2

Your Student List for this class will show by default.

Step 3

Check the box of the student you'd like to enable Simple Login for.

Step 4

Now, on the right at the top of the student list, click on 'Change Password.'

Step 5

In the box that appears, you'll see 'Enable Simple Login'. Once it is enabled, you can click on 'Change Password Images' to change the password for your student.

Step 6

Choose 2 animal pictures and click 'Save'.

Step 7

Hit 'Submit' or 'Update', and your students can more easily remember their passwords, and login with fun picture passwords from now on!
